Communicate & Inspire with 3-D.science

A guy in his 40ties sitting on front of his desk filled with screens, loudspeakers and other tech.

I am Dr. Christoph Kuehne, structural biologist turned scientific communicator.

With my expertise in 3D animation and illustration, I bring scientific concepts to life. Whether it’s explaining the intricate mechanisms of cellular processes or reveal the behavior of subatomic particles, I can create stunning and accurate representations.

Whoever the target audience may be, I distill complex ideas into easily understandable visuals. With a keen eye for accuracy and a passion for scientific communication, I am committed to helping researchers, educators, and corporate clients convey their ideas through engaging and informative 3D animations and illustrations.

The imagery I create can be used for a wide range of purposes, including research papers, journal covers, slide decks, mechanism of action (MOA) animations, and many more. Whether it’s conveying complex scientific concepts, showcasing experimental results, or visualizing data trends, my expertise lies in transforming complex information into easily understandable visuals.

Sound Design

Sound plays a crucial role in 3D animations. It has the power to evoke emotions, create atmosphere, in short: bring life to the visuals. With my knowledge of audio production and sound design, I work hard to create a cohesive and engaging audio experience. Whether it’s creating sound effects or background ambiences, choosing and cutting music, or incorporating the voice-over: I use industry-standard software and techniques to ensure the final product is of the highest standard.
